Club run, Sunday 22nd June
There is a run organised across to the Woll Golf Course at Ashkirk.
Meet at 10 o’clock at the new clubrooms with a view to leaving about quarter past 10. Kit bags will be taken to the golf course by car and we'll run there. Groups can run across at different speeds over whichever route they want. The shortest would be the Borders Abbeys Way which is roughly 6 miles, the senior men will go a more scenic & less direct way.
We are allowed to use the showers and changing rooms at the Woll and are booked for a meal at about 1 o’clock. A minibus is arranged to bring us back to Hawick at 4.30. Anybody wishing to make their own way either walking or arriving only for the meal and drinks is of course welcome.
There is no need to pre-order meals but the golf course require an idea of numbers so if anyone is interested please let Alister Biggar know. Telephone 373545 or 07952 254974.
